We were in Vienna earlier in the week, so the nonstop Austrian flight from VIE to EVN made the most sense. We booked for 15,000 United miles each in economy class. Business class would have been an extra 10,000 miles, but I figured 1.) the seat is the same, 2.) I already had lounge access, and 3.) we would be eating dinner just before the flight.

While Hong Kong carrier Cathay Pacific's business class consistently ranks among our favorites, its premium economy on its Boeing 777 and A350 planes is also worthy of attention.
In 2021, Azur Air acquired three ex-Cathay Pacific 777-300s, with only 275 seats, including: six first class seats. 53 business class seats. 34 premium economy seats. 182 economy class seats. After reading Lucky’s review of Austrian Airlines, and at the urging of a friend, our outbound flights to Istanbul would be business class on OS88 from JFK to Vienna, a Boeing 777-200. There we had a five hour layover before continuing on in Austrian business class to Istanbul.

Seat: 9L (Polaris Business Class) I boarded through the second set of doors, and the first thing I noticed was just how massive the space between doors one and two is on the 787-10. The Polaris cabin consisted of 44 seats, all between doors one and two. 3. BUSINESS CLASS CABIN. Turkish Airlines’ Boeing 777 features two Business Class cabins located in the plane’s front section. The front cabin contains the bulk of the Business Class seats (28 in total, spread over 4 rows), while the rear cabin has only 21 seats, spread over 3 rows.
Austrian Airlines’ 767-300 has their largest long-haul business class seat, at 21″ wide, 60″ in pitch, and 78″ long in lie-flat bed mode. The biggest difference between the 767-300 and the 777-200 (and the reason for our ranking) is the cabin configuration. This trip started at Abu Dhabi Int'l Airport (AUH). Etihad are flying a B777-300/ER 3 times a week between Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles.
