Even before Game of Thrones ending I think it was pretty obvious that the final of the books would be the same in some ways but with major differences. We could saw that when Season 6 was airing, this thing was very different from what we'll get from Winds of Winter. At this time, the break was irreversible.The books are like a game of chess (or rather Cyvasse), the end is clear, all that remains to be done is putting the pieces where they need to be. Um.
