I drive a MK7 and MK6 Golf 2.0 TDI (DSG) and i've driven a 320d 2016. I much prefer the smoothness of the 320d drive. Looks and feels more premium IMO. That being said, I do love the versatility of the Golf. BMW 320D from my experience - Pro's - Pretty damn good MPG for the power you have. Looks very impressive on the outside Smooth drive
